TOMORROW, Saturday, June 30, 2012, Laurie M. Taylor/Soul Movement (LMTSM) will be performing “Best Love Ever”, set to the music of The Robert Glasper Experiment. The piece leads the audience on a journey of love, stopping along the way to examine the revelation and transformation that it renders. Also on the program is the richly percussive “Repositioned for Greatness” and “Falling,” an excerpt of a larger work in progress.
The contemporary/modern dance company’s movement style is inspired by spiritual and physical honesty and is rooted in the intentional musicality of Jazz, Soukous and the Hip-Hop groove.
